If the recent mass recalls of tainted ground beef in our own *human* foods is any indication, we still need to be wary of tainted pet food. The rules and regulations regarding oversight on pet foods are largely just suggestions. Make sure that what you’re feeding your pet is of high quality. Maybe the best alternative is cooking up your own?

Very thought provoking. Our dog died last year (nothing to do with this, thankfully), so I was not aware that this was still an issue or of the changes that had taken place since then. Good article.
